Tottenham Hotspur have had to cope without the services of Erik Lamela for the past three months.
The mysterious injury suffered by Erik Lamela still shows no signs of being solved, but there was some good news for Spurs fans, after ESPN’s chief Tottenham correspondent shared news of a scan undertaken by the Argentine on Friday via his official Twitter account, that appeared to show no serious damage.

The 24-year-old has not played for Mauricio Pochettino’s men since his side’s 2-1 defeat to Liverpool in the EFL Cup in October, and his rehabilitation from injury was not helped when he had to return to his homeland in December to be with his brother, who was taken to hospital.
Pochettino himself appeared concerned by Lamela’s injury problems last week, when he admitted the club were unaware of what the actual cause or solution for his setback was.

But both Lamela and Pochettino will be breathing a sigh of relief this morning, after the results of his scan proved that there is no serious underlying issue, regarding the long-term fitness of the Spurs winger.
