Speaking on his YouTube channel, Alasdair Gold has been speaking about Tottenham Hotspur and the financial situation at the club.
Spurs are one of the richest clubs in the world, but there are ways in which they can become even more wealthy. There are often rumours of outside investment be that from Todd Boehly or LAMF, and while nothing has come to fruition yet, Gold says that a very wealthy individual was actually shown around Hotspur Way not too long ago.

Gold shared what he knows about this mystery wealthy individual.
“There’s always little bits and pieces and rumours of potential investment at Tottenham. I know that one chap was shown around the training ground not too long ago who was a very wealthy person. I’m keeping an eye on exactly what that is, it could have been a naming rights partner that didn’t come to pass, or a potential investor,” Gold said.

As Gold says, this could be a potential investor or even a new naming rights partner, so watch this space.
However, equally as likely is that this was just one of Spurs’ sponsors being shown the state of the art facilities at Tottenham.
In this day and age, a team like Spurs have official partners for everything – from tyres to paint, so it very easily could have been one of the bigwigs from one of those companies having a look around.
However, as Gold says, this is one that he’s keeping an eye on, so it’s certainly one that fans should have in the back of their minds going forward.
