Speaking on The Done Deal Show, Dean Jones has shared what he knows about Tottenham Hotspur and their interest in Mohamed-Ali Cho.
Tottenham were apparently offered Cho this week, but according to Jones, the London club believe the striker to be too expensive.
Cho is a player Tottenham supposedly have a genuine interest in, but they want to negotiate his price down to a more reasonable figure.
What’s been said about Cho?
Jones shared what he knows about the teenager.
“There was the link yesterday to Mohamed-Ali Cho, the forward from Angers. That interest is 100 per cent genuine. They really like the player and they’re looking to do a deal there. From a Tottenham point of view, they feel he’s slightly overvalued from what I’m told,” Jones said.
“Angers want around €20m, and they’re trying to negotiate around that and haggle it. He’s young, he’s not a player who will change your season, but he could change games and he can play in a two-man attack or he can play off a main forward. He’d be kind of a Son-like figure.”

Overpriced
We have to agree with Tottenham, at €20m (£17m), Cho is slightly overpriced.
Yes, he’s a fantastic young talent, and his ceiling is massive, but he still has a lot to prove within the sport.
He’s an attacker, but he’s only managed to score two league goals this season, so it’s fair to say he needs to improve on his goalscoring.
If Tottenham can negotiate with Angers, they could end up getting a great deal, but at that price, it’s a tough sell.
