Speaking on his Podcast, Phil Hay has been discussing some of Leeds’ transfer targets and he’s mentioned Martin Terrier.
Leeds have been linked with Terrier for a little while now, but for one reason or another, the trail has gone quiet on that front in recent weeks.
However, while there hasn’t been any breaking news on Terrier for a little while, Hay says that there is a concrete link between Leeds and the French striker, claiming that the Whites have done a lot of analysis on this player.

Hay shared what he knows about Terrier and Leeds.
“Leeds do scout a lot of players and do a lot when it comes to recruitment work, they spread themselves across a large number of names, but there’s a huge difference between who they’re looking at speculatively and who they’re looking to bid for. De Ketelaere is an example, when he was speaking to Milan, there was an agreement in place, and Leeds were in a position to pay for him, but with others it doesn’t get that far down the line,” Hay said.
“For example, they have done a lot of analysis of Terrier at Rennes, so that is a concrete link, but that isn’t say that they will do it or that they can afford him or that they’d want to spend their money on him specifically, but they like him enough to do that background on him.”
A lot to like
Leeds have reportedly done a lot of analysis on Terrier, and we’d be very surprised if they weren’t impressed by the 25-year-old.
Indeed, there’s a lot to like about this player. He’s lightning quick, his movement is very clever and on top of that, he’s dynamite in front of goal.
His 21 league goals last season speak for themselves, and it wouldn’t be surprising at all if reports emerged about a bid from Leeds in the coming weeks.
Terrier is a fantastic player, and Leeds should have more than an eye on him.
