CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs has said on Twitter that Graham Potter’s Chelsea are the only club pushing for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo, with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool backing away because of his price-tag.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Chelsea are pushing for a transfer for Caicedo right now.
Jacobs has added that Liverpool think that Brighton’s valuation of the 21-year-old Ecuador international midfielder is too high.
The Athletic reported this week that Chelsea have had a bid of £55 million for the youngster from Brighton turned down.

90min have reported that Arsenal, Newcastle United, Liverpool and Manchester United all are ready to move for Caicedo if they see a sign that Brighton are willing to sell the 21-year-old midfielder in the January transfer window.
The Seagulls paid £4.5 million for the youngster (SkySports).
