Writing in his column for CBS Sports, Fabrizio Romano has shared an update about Arsenal and Yunus Musah.
Musah has been one of the shining young stars at the World Cup this winter, and his standout performances have led to a lot of discussion about Arsenal.
Of course, the 20-year-old was on Arsenal’s books as a teenager – before joining Valencia in pursuit of more first-team football, and now, a return to north London could be on the cards.
Indeed, according to Romano, Arsenal have recently sent their scouts to look at Musah – a midfielder who has previously been described as ‘Pogba-like’ by Steve Cooper.

Arsenal have scouted Musah
The journalist claimed that Arsenal have had a real look at Musah.
“Yunus Musah is also in the list of Premier League clubs. Arsenal recently sent their scouts to monitor him, but there are also other Premier League giants well informed on the Valencia midfielder. Inter Milan are interested too, but the price tag could be too high for them in January. Of course, Musah could leave Valencia between January and June,” Romano wrote.
Make amends
Arsenal made one of the biggest mistakes in their recent history when letting Musah go as a teenager, but now they have the chance to make amends for that.
Of course, it will cost them a pretty penny, but at least they’ll have a homegrown academy star back in the fold if they do sign him.
Musah would be a brilliant rotation option and eventual replacement for Thomas Partey, and at the age of just 20, he looks like he’s going to continue to grow and get better.
The sky is the limit for this young man, and this would be a wise signing for Arsenal to make.
