Speaking on The Done Deal Show, Dean Jones has been discussing Pedro Neto’s future at Wolves.
The Portuguese winger was once again in the spotlight over the weekend, putting on a dazzling show in a losing effort against Leeds United, and now, there’s growing speculation that he may leave Wolves.
The Midlands club seem pretty set on selling a big-name player this summer, and after failing to find a buyer for Ruben Neves, Neto could depart.
The Portuguese winger is certainly a talent, and according to Jones, Arsenal have half an eye on his situation at Molineux.

Jones spoke about Arsenal’s hunt for a winger and Neto.
“If they decide to look within the Premier League, Neto is one that has begun to be spoken about a bit more, and it’s starting to sound like he might actually leave in this window. The noise around Wolves has been that Traore, Moutinho or Neves could be on their way, but Neto could be one to look out for at the moment and Arsenal do have half an eye on him,” Jones said.
Fits the bill
Neto certainly fits the bill in terms of the type of player that Arsenal would be looking for.
The Gunners’ recent transfer policy has been clear, sign young players who can be stars of the future, and at the age of just 22, Neto checks that box.
The winger is a bag of tricks, and after missing out on Raphinha earlier this summer, this would be a fantastic alternative to the Brazilian.
Of course, getting Neto to the Emirates is easier said than done, but it would be very intriguing to watch a player this talented in such a bright young team.
