Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, Ian McGarry and Duncan Castles have shared an update about Nuno Espirito Santo and the vacant Everton job.
The Toffees need a new gaffer after Carlo Ancelotti ditched them for Real Madrid, and it seems as though Nuno is the man they may go for.

According to McGarry, Nuno is already planning summer recruitment at Everton, claiming later on in the podcast that he has plans to bring Pedro Neto to Goodison Park.
Meanwhile, Castles says that the three-time Premier League Manager of the Month’s interview went well and that Everton have told him he’s their preferred choice.
“It certainly is the case that their interest has been taken forward since then and it seems that Nuno is already planning for the potential of taking that job in terms of recruiting some players, or at least one player, from Wolves,” McGarry said.
“Yes, Nuno Espirito Santo has already spoken to Everton. My guidance is that the interview went well. Everton told him that he was the preferred choice for the job. However, they haven’t yet offered him the job, which fits into what’s going on in the background at Everton which is a conflict about who gets to take authority over this appointment.”
Could do worse
Nuno Espirito Santo may not be on Ancelotti’s level, but Everton could do a lot worse than appointing the former Wolves boss.
Nuno has a very recognisable system that works very well in the Premier League. After all, he got a newly-promoted Wolves side finishing seventh for two consecutive seasons.
Of course, whether or not Nuno is appointed remains to be seen, but if he does come in, Everton will have a very talented coach at the helm.
