Tyrell Malacia will be looking to find a new club before the transfer window closes.
With just over two weeks remaining in the summer window, clubs across Europe are under pressure to wrap up their business.
Manchester United have already added four new faces to Ruben Amorim’s squad, with Matheus Cunha, Diego Leon, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko all coming in.
The manager is still hoping to bring in a midfielder and possibly a goalkeeper, but that will depend on whether they can move on some of the players who are no longer part of his plans.
Five players were told not to report back for pre-season training this summer. Marcus Rashford has since joined Barcelona on loan, while Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia remain at the club.
Efforts are being made behind the scenes to find them new teams before the deadline passes.
Tyrell Malacia’s camp caught off guard by Celtic rumours

Earlier in the summer, there had been interest from a few clubs about Malacia, but nothing came of it. The only concrete option right now appears to be a move to Saudi Arabia.
Celtic were mentioned as a possible destination six months ago, but Malacia ended up on loan at PSV Eindhoven. He did not make much of an impact there, appearing just 12 times despite the club winning the league.
The links to Celtic have not gone away, but Dutch journalist Joost Blaauwhof has reported that people close to Malacia are “surprised” by talk of a move to Scotland.
The left-back still has an offer from Saudi Arabia and is taking his time before deciding what comes next.
He is currently working on his fitness back at Carrington.
Celtic already have good options at left-back, with Kieran Tierney and Hayato Inamura both fitting into Brendan Rodgers’ plans for that position.
Every player who has featured for both Celtic and Manchester United
Due to their success and proximity, many players have played for both Manchester United and Celtic. Saidy Janko was the most recent, playing one season as a Red Devil before two years with The Hoops.
In this context, Roy Keane is the most prominent star to have played for both these European clubs. Following a public disagreement with Sir Alex Ferguson, he made a notable transfer to Celtic in 2005.
