Dean Jones has told Give Me Sport that Leeds United are considering a move for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi too this summer, joining Newcastle in looking at the England ace, and USA skipper Christian Pulisic.
Hudson-Odoi, 21, was on the bench against Tottenham but it comes after the £120k-a-week winger was absent from the 1-0 win over Everton – not even making the matchday squad. With the World Cup upcoming, he will want a move.
Reports claim West Ham, Everton, Crystal Palace and Newcastle all want Hudson-Odoi. Meanwhile, Pulisic is also attracting interest from Newcastle and Leeds – with the Whites now boasting two of his USMNT teammates.
Indeed, Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams have joined the Whites this summer from Salzburg and Leipzig. Jones now reports that Leeds have joined the race for Hudson-Odoi, as well as Pulisic, with Newcastle also eyeing both players.
“Newcastle are very much in the market for those two players, but I know Leeds have been having a look, too,” Jones told GMS, when discussing both Pulisic and Hudson-Odoi, who remain on the fringes at Chelsea.

Leeds considering Hudson-Odoi as well as Pulisic, Newcastle want duo
With Rodrigo bang in form after three goals in two games, the need for a striker at Elland Road could be solved by the Spanish ace. Leeds could be about to lose both Patrick Bamford and Joe Gelhardt to injury.
Bamford came off against Southampton on Saturday early, while Gelhardt was not in the squad. Leeds have wanted a striker all summer, but Rodrigo could solve their lack of options up top. If he moves up top, a winger is required.
Hudson-Odoi would be a brilliant addition. He would suit Leeds; plenty of energy, direct, willing to press. He will be desperate to impress too. Gareth Southgate is preparing to pick his World Cup squad for Qatar in a few months.
Pulisic will also be an option – but Chelsea may prefer to sell the latter, instead of loaning him out. With Hudson-Odoi, they may be more open to a loan given his age. Newcastle may also be more of a favourable move this summer.
