Speaking on The Done Deal Show, Ben Jacobs has issued yet another update on Tottenham Hotspur’s ownership structure amid rumours of potential Qatari investment.
Jacobs himself broke the story of QSI’s interest in Spurs last week, and since then, things have been, slowly but surely, escalating.
The journalist has now shared a fresh update on this matter, stating that he has heard that Levy is in fact in discussions with multiple parties about potential investment, while sources close to QSI have indicated that the Tottenham chairman is willing to sell up to 30 per cent of the club.

Levy ready to sell big chunk
Jacobs shared what he knows of this situation.
“Daniel Levy is prepared to surrender a minority stake in the football club. He is in active discussions with multiple suitors. This is the feeling within the industry when speaking to sources in the last week or so. Levy doesn’t want an outgoing plan, he wants business as usual, but with more investment coming into the club, so it’s about finding the right partner,” Jacobs said.
“I’ll say this again. Tottenham deny that any equity of the football club was spoken about with QSI. Sources close to QSI tell a different story and they say that investment was discussed and they add that Daniel Levy may be open to selling up to 30 per cent of the football club.”
Big change afoot
30 per cent is not an insignificant portion of Tottenham Hotspur.
If this report is true, then there could be huge change afoot at Spurs in the coming months, especially if QSI do end up being the investors we’re talking about here.
The Qatari’s are mega-rich and if they buy 30% of the north London club, huge investment could be on the horizon at Spurs.
