Dean Jones has told Give Me Sport that Everton, Chelsea or Tottenham could still sign Wolves winger Adama Traore for a bargain £10million this summer – with agents working to get the Spain international out of the Molineux door.

Traore, 26, has returned to Wolves after a loan spell at Barcelona. But he has fallen down the pecking order with Bruno Lage preferring the likes of Daniel Podence, Pedro Neto and Goncalo Guedes. Traore is in the final year of his contract.

Everton and Chelsea remain hard at work in trying to sign new players in the final week of the window. Anthony Gordon, in fact, could go from Everton to Chelsea in a deal believed to be worth a whopping £60million, with add-ons.

Everton will need to replace Gordon, Chelsea want more additions and Fabio Paratici is a long-term admirer of Traore. Now, Jones reports that Traore’s agents are working to get him out of Wolves – and all three could get him.

“Traore is one to keep an eye on in this final week. Intermediaries are still working on a new club for him and there has been most interest from Chelsea, Spurs and Everton. He’s got to be one of the best options left on the market.”

The Athletic report that Wolves want just £10million for Traore – as they look to get him out of the door this week. Indeed, Wolves need to sell him this week if they want a fee for his services. Otherwise, he goes on a free next summer.

Which club is best for him? In terms of game time, he would be first choice at Everton – no doubt. Especially, if Gordon goes. At Tottenham, he would struggle for game time, but Antonio Conte is said to see him as a potential wing-back.

That versatility could increase his minutes, by offering options in two positions. At Chelsea, he would also struggle. So, his best move is Everton – but if he wants the chance to play in the Champions League, Tottenham over Chelsea.
