According to Football London‘s Alasdair Gold, Tottenham players believe Antonio Conte could leave Spurs in February.
What’s the story?
Well, Conte already looks tired of life at Tottenham, despite replacing Nuno Espirito Santo as recently as November 2nd.
Gold believes Tottenham players fear the Italian will walk from N17 unless Daniel Levy backs him in the market this month.
After all, the 52-year-old doesn’t hang around if he’s unhappy.
According to the Guardian, Conte walked out on Inter Milan over the summer after learning of the club’s plans to sell €80m (£67m) worth of players.
Therefore, Levy should be very, very careful.
Gold does, however, offer some encouraging news.
The Football London journalist believes an “honest” meeting was held between Conte, Levy, Fabio Paratici and other members of the Tottenham board, and there is little fear of the ex-Chelsea boss leaving.
How can Tottenham make Antonio Conte happy?

Levy knows what he needs to do in order to please Conte, so it’s time to get the chequebook out.
Football London are claiming that the Italian wants three new players signed before the January transfer window closes.
Conte wants a new right wing-back, central midfielder and a centre-forward to help get Tottenham back into the Champions League.
Football London add that Spurs also need to offload some players, with a number of fringe options potentially heading out of Hotspur Way.

Paratici – who made a number of impressive signings at Juventus, including Paul Pogba on a free transfer – will help Conte obtain his targets in his role as Director of Football.
The pair worked alongside each other in Turin for three years, so there should be enough of an understanding between them to get things done this month.
If Levy fails to fund these moves, however, then the Tottenham fans should prepare themselves to wave goodbye to Conte.
