Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, journalist Ian McGarry has claimed that Tottenham are interested in signing Tammy Abraham.
The Chelsea striker has been the subject of interest from numerous clubs this summer, most recently being linked to Roma and Arsenal, but now it seems as though Spurs could enter the race for his signature.

McGarry shared an update on Tottenham’s transfer window, claiming that Abraham is now on their radar.
“It also is the case and we have learned that Tammy Abraham, the Chelsea striker, has been the subject of interest from Tottenham. They are clearly, under Nuno Espirito Santo, looking to options for if Kane is sold, and it’s also the case that it seems inevitable before the window closes that Kane will become a Manchester City player, and Abraham is one of those who Nuno is looking to recruit to replace Kane,” McGarry said.
Interesting signing
If Spurs are to sign Abraham to replace Kane it would be a very interesting signing.
The pair are two very different players. Abraham is very much a finisher, while Kane is also Spurs’ chief creator with his game recently revolving around his ability to drop deep.
Of course, under Nuno, we have no idea how Spurs will play, but it seems as though there could be a drastic change in style if Abraham is signed to replace Kane.
Abraham is certainly a talent, after all, he was once described by Jack Grealish as ‘unbelievable’.
Of all the strikers that have been linked to the north London club this summer, this rumour is perhaps the most interesting.
