According to Carlo Laudisa – a journalist for Gazzetta dello Sport – Liverpool are now keen to sign Noa Lang, who is said to be a target for Arsenal.
What’s the story?
Well, the journalist was speaking on YouTube about the Dutchman, where he mentioned that Liverpool are fighting AC Milan for Lang’s services.
Elsewhere, it was Voetbal International who revealed that Arsenal are interested in signing the Club Brugge forward.
Laudisa believes AC Milan are huge fans of Lang, although two things are making life difficult for them as they pursue a deal.
Firstly, the €40m (£34m) asking price is not ideal for the Serie A side, and secondly, competition from Liverpool is said to be ‘putting the brakes’ on things for AC Milan.
You can see why so many European giants are interested in Lang.
So far this season, the 22-year-old has scored eight goals while also providing 12 assists in all competition.
Liverpool should leave Noa Lang to Arsenal

Lang is clearly a very good player – not everybody earns themselves a comparison to Neymar, for example.
However, we think Liverpool should avoid this deal, following the arrival of Luis Diaz.
Klopp already has a headache regarding how to accommodate both Diaz and Sadio Mane, both of whom play on the left wing.

Therefore, the Reds certainly don’t need to make the German’s life harder by handing him another forward, specifically one who usually operates on the left as well.
Arsenal do not have such great depth in their attack, so maybe it would be worth Mikel Arteta pursuing a deal.
However, Liverpool have no need to get involved in the race for Lang.
