The Athletic journalist Steve Madeley has reported in The Athletic this morning that Fosun International will not sell Wolverhampton Wanderers anytime soon.

Chinese investment group Fosun International took over Wolves in July 2016.

Under Fosun, Wolves have won promotion from the Championship and have established themselves in the Premier League.

The Wanderers have also played in the UEFA Europa League under Fosun.

During a Q&A on The Athletic. Wolves reporter Steve Madeley has claimed that he has been told that Fosun do not plan to sell the club at the moment.

Fosun International don’t plan to sell Wolverhampton Wanderers

When asked by a Wolves fan if Fosun want to sell Wolves, Madeley responded in The Athletic: “I’m assured Fosun have no plans to sell up at the moment.”

Encouraging

In our view, that Fosun International do not plan to sell Wolverhampton Wanderers now is very encouraging for the club.

Fosun has transformed Wolves, who have progressed both on the pitch and off it under them.

Now, of course, breaking into the Premier League top six and staying there is easier than done, but under the Chinese investment ground, Wolves could get there.

Wolves are now an established club in the Premier League, and the only way for them is up.

Things are looking very promising for the Wanderers under Fosun.
