Adama Traore to Tottenham Hotspur is a rumour that could dominate the last five days of the transfer window.

AS in Spain reported last week that Spurs were weighing up a £34 million move for the Wolverhampton Wanderers winger.

This is a player who Nuno Espirito Santo knows extremely well after taking him to Wolves three years ago.

Traore gave a decent account of himself against Nuno’s Tottenham side last weekend and it’ll be interesting to see if that performance made the Lilywhites more inclined to make a move.

It remains to be seen if the North Londoners are even interested, but the 25-year-old himself would jump at the chance.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported via his Twitch account on Wednesday that the Spain international would ‘love‘ a move to Tottenham.

Romano added that the two clubs are deep in negotiations but that no price has been agreed as of yet.

Following Gil?

The Barcelona-born winger, who has six caps for his country, would be the second Spain player to join up with Nuno’s squad this summer if it does happen.

The only attacking player who Tottenham have signed so far is Bryan Gil.

With Harry Kane now officially staying, and not joining Manchester City, there’s less reason for Spurs to spend a fortune on revamping their offence.

But a deal for Traore might not go amiss – especially seen as he seemingly wants to join.
