Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, journalist Duncan Castles has claimed that Bernardo Silva is open to joining Tottenham in a swap deal for Harry Kane.
It’s no secret that Manchester City want Kane, and there have been rumours that they may offer Spurs a player plus cash deal to get this deal done.
Silva is reportedly open to making the switch according to Castles.
What’s been said?
The journalist shared what he knows about the Kane and Silva situation.
“Bernardo Silva wants to leave and it’s a very obvious player to offer to Tottenham in the Harry Kane transaction. There is that commitment there that the player can go if he comes up with a proposal that is acceptable to Manchester City and acceptable to him. My understanding is that if the clubs were to agree to include that in the Kane deal then Bernardo Silva would look at it as a possible move for him,” Castles said.

Good swap
If Spurs can get a decent chunk of cash for Kane as well as Silva then it would be a great move.
Bernardo Silva is undoubtedly an incredibly talented player. He’s won the Premier League on three separate occasions, and he’s a regular in the Portuguese national team.
He can play on the wing as well as in midfield, and his creativity would go a long way towards replacing what Kane brings to Spurs.
