Emerson Royal has been speaking to Sky Sports journalist James Green about life at Tottenham, where he made a claim about Lucas Moura.
What’s the story?
Well, according to the £25.8m Tottenham man, Lucas can no longer be trusted after he continued to stitch him up with his English translations.

Understandably, Lucas can no longer be trusted – we don’t blame Emerson for firing the South American as his language tutor!
All jokes aside, the Tottenham pair clearly have a good relationship, to the point where they feel comfortable enough to wind each other up.
It’s good to see Emerson has a fellow countryman to help him in N17, as things haven’t exactly been normal for foreign recruits in recent times.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the way in which arrivals from abroad can integrate and adapt to their new surroundings, so Lucas was surely a big help for Emerson upon his arrival from Barcelona.
Tottenham could sell Emerson Royal
The Brazilian only arrived at Tottenham back in August, but we fear he could already be sold by Antonio Conte.
For one, it was Nuno Espirito Santo who signed the right-back, not Conte.
Since the Italian arrived, he has been on the lookout for a new right-back, as The Athletic revealed in January when Adama Traore was targeted.
Emerson has played sporadically in recent months, as Matt Doherty was preferred at wing-back before his unfortunate knee injury.
In our view, only one of Emerson or Doherty will be kept as backup, with a fresh face set to arrive in the right-back department this summer.
Only time will tell if we’re right, although it goes without saying that Spurs could definitely upgrade the right-back position this summer.
