Arsenal are prepared to make Bukayo Saka their highest paid player as part of his new contract, even above Gabriel Jesus, as per 90 Min’s Graeme Bailey.
While the England international even hinted at extending his deal (via the Sun) in August, which expires in 2024, an agreement is yet to be reached.

The Daily Mail had reported that the Hale End graduate was keen on a three-fold increase in his current £70,000-a-week wages to stay in North London for years to come.
It seems as if the 21-year-old is set to be granted his wish by his boyhood club, as he remains the present and future of Mikel Arteta’s side.
Saka is set to become Arsenal’s highest paid-player as new contract beckons
As per a report by Graeme Bailey of 90 Min, Arsenal are prepared to make Bukayo Saka their highest-paid player as negotiations over a contract extension continue.
Further details suggest that initially, the youngster was set to be handed £200,000-a-week in wages, which was set to be massive increase in his pay packet.
However, the wonderkid’s new contract could lead to him taking home in excess of £250,000 in weekly wages, even above the side’s highest-earner in Gabriel Jesus, who Arteta said had taken the side to a “different level” (via The Athletic)
The Gunners are believed to be confident that Saka will extend his contract after returning from the World Cup.
Additionally, the club are also aware that there is interest from rival teams in the silky winger, with 90 Min mentioning that Pep Guardiola would be interested in signing him at City.
Ultimately, this is great business from an Arsenal point of view, as a player as important to the side as Bukayo Saka deserves such a massive salary bump.
