Journalist Dean Jones has claimed that Emiliano Buendia wishes to make a positive impact under Unai Emery and has no plans to leave Aston Villa anytime soon.

The former Norwich City talisman was coming off a stellar season in the Championship, registering a staggering 15 goals and 17 assists.
Considering he had thrived in the Premier League before as well, his addition seemed like a masterstroke at the time.
The fact that Buendia started a mere 22 league games last season, despite not having been injured is a sign of how underwhelming he was.
This campaign as well, the versatile attacker has started a mere 7 games for Aston Villa.
However, it does not seem as if the technician is ready to part ways with the club

According to journalist Dean Jones, Emiliano Buendia has no plans of bidding farewell to Aston Villa, as his aim is to make his mark under Unai Emery.
“Buendia, he figured pretty strongly, to be fair for Villa in the month leading to the World Cup.”
“I’m told he’s still very motivated to produce, particularly under Emery, so I don’t think he’ll be heading out the exit door”, he told Give Me Sport.

However, such was not the case when he joined the club, with many even claiming that Arsenal should have signed him instead of now-skipper Martin Odegaard.
