Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has hailed Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane with his comments to BT Sport, during their live Champions League coverage.

Jota took the headlines last night, as he scored a hat-trick in Liverpool’s 5-0 win over Atalanta.

But Salah and Mane also got on the scoresheet for the Reds, in what was a dominant performance.

And the Portuguese forward was quick to heap praise on his two teammates after the game.

“Obviously they are two world class players, we all know their quality which makes it easier for me to do my job because they are outstanding and we had a great game together today,” he said.

Together Jota, Mane and Salah have made a quite incredible attacking unit so far at Liverpool.

The trio looked a huge threat yesterday, and Jurgen Klopp now has a selection headache.

Roberto Firmino has monopolised Liverpool’s striking place, but he is well out of form currently, and Jota’s brilliant start to life at Anfield has really put the Brazilian under pressure.

Liverpool now have a game against Manchester City on Sunday, and it will be very interesting to see which of his strikers Jurgen Klopp backs to lead the line.
