Jamie Carragher has said on Sky Sports Premier League (7:21pm, April 4, 2022) that Liverpool forward Diogo Jota is similar to former Anfield star Robbie Fowler.
Fowler is one of the best strikers to have ever played for Liverpool and in the Premier League.
Former Liverpool defender and Sky Sports pundit Carragher believes that Portugal international forward Jota is similar to Fowler.
Carragher said: “That man, Jota, what a signing, an absolute predator, a goalscorer, similar a bit to Robbie Fowler of the past, so many goals in and around that box.”

In our opinion, Jota is a Liverpool star who has been playing well for the Reds ever since he moved from Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 25-year-old had injury problems last season, but when he was fit and played, he was brilliant.
The Liverpool no. 20 scored nine goals in 12 Premier League starts and scored four goals in six Champions League starts for Jurgen Klopp’s side last season.
Jota has scored 14 goals and given one assist in 21 Premier League starts, and has scored one goal in five Champions League starts for Liverpool so far this season.
In our view, Jota is now a big source of goals for Liverpool, who will need him to be on top of his game in the final weeks of the season, as they aim to win the Premier League, the Champions League and the FA Cup this season.
