Mark Warburton’s Glasgow Rangers suffered a heavy defeat to Celtic in the Scottish Premiership in September.

Rangers midfielder Josh Windass has revealed to The Scottish Sun what Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers told him after last month’s Old Firm game.
Celtic took on Old Firm rivals Rangers at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday, September 10.
It was supposed to be a competitive game of football, but the Bhoys won the match comfortably 5-1.
Windass featured in the match, as he started and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The 22-year-old Accrington Stanley midfielder has revealed what Celtic manager Rodgers told him after the match.

“After the game, Brendan just said to me that he thought I’d played really well and wished me all the best,” Windass told The Scottish Sun. “I wasn’t really in the mood to speak as we’d just lost 5-1, but it was nice of him.
“It was weird because I then saw him in a restaurant later on in the West End. I was with my girlfriend and he was with his family. I didn’t speak to him. There was an awkward wave and that was it!”

Rangers and Celtic will lock horns again next weekend, when they face each other in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup.
It promises to be a competitive and entertaining game of football, as both the Gers and the Bhoys are in good form.
Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 22 points from eight matches, four points clear of second-placed Aberdeen with a game in hand.
Rangers currently find themselves fourth in the standings with 15 points from nine games.
