Glasgow Rangers midfielder Josh Windass joined the Ibrox club in 2016.

Windass officially joined Rangers in the summer of 2016 after leaving Accrington Stanley at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
The 24-year-old is a very talented footballer and has established himself as an important player in Graeme Murty’s team.
The English midfielder has revealed what his father Dean Windass told him about Aberdeen and Old Firm games against Celtic before his move to the Gers.
Dean Windass was on the books of Aberdeen from 1995 until 1998.

The Scottish Sun quotes Josh Windass as saying: “My dad played for Aberdeen and he’d told me that Rangers aren’t big fans of them boys!
“He told me about the atmosphere in Old Firm games and in the matches against Aberdeen. And that really helped me going into those games.”

Quality footballer
Windass is playing well for Rangers at the moment and is a key player in Murty’s midfielder.
The midfielder has scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 29 Scottish Premiership appearances for the Ibrox club so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.com.
Rangers are out of the running for the Scottish Premiership this season, but the Gers can certainly finish second in the league table.
