Glasgow Rangers went to the top of the Scottish Premiership as the Ibrox side came from behind to claim the three points.

Josh Windass took to Twitter during Rangers’ victory against Hearts to laud James Tavernier as the right-back helped the Gers claim the three points that has sent them to the top of the Scottish Premiership.
After falling behind thanks to a Gareth McAuley own goal, goals from Connor Goldson and Alfredo Morelos saw Rangers take a 2-1 lead into the break at Tynecastle.
And despite losing Scott Arfield to a red card after the interval, Steven Gerrard’s men would see the game out without too many scares to move themselves to the top of the table.

There were a number of impressive performances for Gerrard’s side, but Tavernier was arguably one of the best on show. The captain produced some ridiculously good crosses into the box from corners and free-kicks, and he made a number of dangerous runs down the line that really stretched the home side.
The Englishman provided the assist for both of Rangers’ goals in the win and really stood up when Arfield’s dismissal threatened to derail the visitors’ momentum in the latter stages of the game.
