Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers won against St Johnstone, thanks to goals from Ibrox stars Carlos Pena and Graham Dorrans,
Rangers resumed Scottish Premiership action on Friday evening with a pretty comfortable victory over St Johnstone.
The Gers got the better of St. Johnstone 3-0 away from home at McDiarmid Park in Perth.
Carlos Pena scored twice for the Ibrox outfit, first in the 27th minute and then on 78 minutes.
Graham Dorrans, who joined Rangers in the summer transfer window, added the third in the 86th minute.
St Johnstone ended the match with 10 men due to the sending-off of Steven Anderson in the 71st minute.
Rangers midfielder Josh Windass has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at the win.
The 23-year-old former Accrington Stanley man has also praised 25-year-old right-back James Tavernier and 27-year-old midfielder Pena.
The win against St Johnstone means that Rangers are third in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 17 points from nine matches, six points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic.
