Rangers earned an excellent 4-0 win over Dundee on Saturday afternoon.

Rangers attacker Josh Windass was full of praise for substitute Andy Halliday on Saturday after the latter came off the bench to impress during the Gers’ 4-0 win over Dundee on Saturday afternoon.
Windass, 24, missed the Scottish Premiership clash due to a calf injury that he sustained during the Light Blues’ 2-2 draw against Motherwell prior to Saturday’s emphatic win – a problem that could see him miss Sunday’s Old Firm derby.

He watched from the stands as Graeme Murty’s men ran riot at Ibrox despite picking up just one point from their three previous games, with goals from Kenny Miller, Alfredo Morelos, Jamie Murphy and Daniel Candeias.
But Windass chose to highlight the performance of Halliday, who came off the bench to feature for the last half an hour by replacing Greg Docherty in the middle of the park.
Halliday, 26, returned to Ibrox in January after being loaned to Azerbaijani side FK Gabala during the first half of the season, but has managed just 174 minutes of league action under Murty.
However, his impressive display will give Murty plenty to think about ahead of this Sunday’s clash against bitter rivals Celtic as the Gers look to stop the Hoops’ chances of a second successive treble.
Windass himself will also be hoping to be part of the side that takes to the field in the Scottish Cup semi-final, but he must prove his fitness before doing so.
