Rangers star Forrester was loaned out from Ibrox to English side AFC Wimbledon last summer.

Rangers playmaker Josh Windass has underlined his delight on Instagram to be reunited with attacking midfielder Harry Forrester, with the latter seemingly returning to Ibrox from his loan spell.
The 27-year-old impressed down south while on loan with AFC Wimbledon in League One, helping his temporary side avoid the drop by scoring three goals and adding eight assists during his 43 league and cup appearances.

Forrester was loaned out by Pedro Caixinha, following an influx of signings in his position last summer – namely Carlos Pena, Graham Dorrans and Daniel Candeias.
It saw Forrester join Wimbledon on loan for the season, and now it remains to be seen where his future lies under new boss Steven Gerrard. Windass posted a picture of Forrester on his Instagram story, with three ‘heart-eyes’ emojis.

Former Doncaster Rovers and Brentford star Forrester has only one more year left to run on his contract with the Gers, meaning he could be sold by Gerrard this summer to avoid losing him on a free.
But with the signing of Pena failing to prove its huge outlay – he has since been loaned to Cruz Azul and now Club Necaxa – Forrester could be given the chance to shine in pre-season by Gerrard.
The former Aston Villa man has made 44 appearances in all competitions for Rangers, scoring eight goals and laying on another three strikes.
