Speaking to the club’s official website, Glasgow Rangers midfielder Josh Windass says he believes Mark Warburton signed him because he fits into their style of play.
The youngster was one of Warburton’s first signings of the summer transfer window as he agreed a deal to move to Ibrox at the end of his deal with Accrington Stanley.

He is one of eight new faces to arrive at the club this summer in what has been a busy transfer window so far.
While other players such as Joey Barton and Niko Kranjcar were targeted to add experience to the squad, Windass believes he was added because he fits in with Gers style of play.
“I think the reason why the manager signed me was because I fit into the style of play quite well,” he told rangers.co.uk.
“If I didn’t think I was capable of a good season then I wouldn’t be here, I think I can make an impact on this squad and hopefully that is what I do.”

It now remains to be seen what role that Windass will have to play in the side next season.
With both Barton and Kranjcar arriving, game time is likely to be hard to come by in Mark Warburton’s midfield next season.
However, the Rangers boss has often showed his faith in youth before and Windass will be hoping that he can make a positive impression during pre-season to secure himself a starting role next season.
