Glasgow Rangers have announced that Stephen Kelly has signed a three-year deal at Ibrox.

Josh Windass has joined a number of Rangers fans in messaging Stephen Kelly after the Gers confirmed on their official website that the midfielder has signed a new contract with the club.
Kelly is one of the brightest prospects currently coming through at Ibrox. He is yet to make his first-team debut for Steven Gerrard’s men, but it is clear that Rangers see him having a very exciting future with the Scottish Premiership side.
The club have today confirmed that Kelly, along with Matthew Shiels, has signed a contract with the Light Blues that looks set to keep him at Ibrox until 2021.
Kelly is, of course, already on Gerrard’s radar. The 18-year-old has been training with the first-team and it would surprise few if he was given the chance to run out for the side at some stage before the campaign concludes.

And news of his deal has been met by an overwhelmingly positive reaction, with former teammate Josh Windass amongst those to message Kelly on social media.
Kelly himself also commented on Twitter after putting pen to paper on the contract, suggesting that he was extremely excited to get the deal signed and looking forward to what is ahead.

Here is Kelly’s tweet as well as the responses from Windass and some of the Rangers fans…
