Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Josh Onomah spent the past season on loan at Aston Villa.

The 21-year-old midfielder spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Championship club Villa from Premier League side Tottenham.
The England Under-21 international made 20 starts and 14 substitute appearances in the Championship for Villa this past campaign, scoring four goals and providing three assists in the process.
Onomah, who earns £30,000 per week as salary according to spotrac.com, has revealed that he wants to play for Tottenham next season, and the youngster has also stated that the North London outfit have been keeping tabs on him this past season.

“I just want to get back to Spurs and make the most of my time there and see if I can break through,” Onomah told Football.London.
“I need to take it step by step. I’m looking forward to the new stadium as well. It should be good. It’s exciting times.”
“They’ve been keeping in touch. There’s a guy who checks on all loan players,” added Onomah. “He goes to every game and checks up on you to make sure everything’s good.”

Breaking through at Tottenham
Onomah has made only a handful of appearances for Tottenham in his career so far, and given the quality of midfielders at the North London outfit, the 21-year-old would find it hard to establish himself in the first team.
Much will depend on how good the midfielder is during pre-season and how much he is able to impress manager Mauricio Pochettino.
