Josh Onomah has thanked Aston Villa fans for their support over the past season.

Onomah and Villa fell just short of promotion, ending the season by losing the Championship play-off final to Fulham.

The Tottenham Hotspur loanee is still feeling deflated at the 1-0 loss.

He sent a message to Villa fans via Instagram stories, expressing his frustration, as well as thanking supporters for their help and encouragement over the past year.

Onomah had a testing season in the Championship, and it showed he still has plenty of work to do if he is going to become a regular for Tottenham.

Even so, the experience has been a big help for him.

Onomah made 34 Championship appearances, 20 of which were starts. He scored four goals and provided three assists.
