Tottenham Hotspur-owned Josh Onomah and West Ham United-owned Robert Snodgrass are pleased with Aston Villa’s win against Sunderland in the Championship.

Tottenham Hotspur-owned Josh Onomah and West Ham United-owned Robert Snodgrass have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reactions to Aston Villa’s win against Sunderland.

Villa got the better of Sunderland 2-1 at Villa Park in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

Albert Adomah put the Villans in the 10th minute, and Onomah, who joined Villa on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Tottenham in the summer transfer window, doubled the advantage four minutes into the second half.

Sunderland halved the deficit through Lewis Grabban on 72 minutes, but Villans held on for all three points.

Midfielder Onomah, 20, and 30-year-old winger Snodgrass, who joined Villa on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side West Ham United in the summer transfer window, have taken to Twitter to give their reactions to the win for Steve Bruce’s side.

The win against Sunderland means that Villa are now fourth in the Championship table with 32 points from 18 matches, six points behind leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers, who have a game in hand.
