Hibernian head coach Jack Ross has told Sky Sports that Josh Doig will leave, amid speculation that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and David Moyes’s West Ham United want to sign him.
Arsenal and West Ham interest
Premier League clubs Arsenal and West Ham are reportedly interested in signing Doig from Hibernian in the summer transfer window.
The London Evening Standard reported on July 22 that both Arsenal and West Ham want the left-back.
Hibernian are reportedly looking for £5 million plus add-ons, but both the Gunners and the Hammers have told the Scottish club to drop their asking price.
Moyes wants to sign Doig as cover at left-back, while Arteta is still looking for a new left-back despite signing Nuno Tavares as Kieran Tierney’s back-up.

What did Jack Ross say?
Hibernian boss Ross has said that Doig will leave the club in the coming days.
However, Ross has not said where the 19-year-old left-back will move to.
Ross told Sky Sports: “My understanding is that it is highly likely Josh will move from the club.
“We have to prepare for that eventuality – it looks like that will happen soon. There has been strong interest, that I think the club are trying to finalise this week, one way or another.”
