Josh Cullen joined Bolton Wanderers on loan from West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

Josh Cullen has been on the books of West Ham United since 2010, but his playing time for the first team has been limited.
The 21-year-old midfielder spent most of the second half of the 2015-16 season and the entire 2016-17 campaign on loan at Bradford City.
The youngster joined Bolton Wanderers on loan from West Ham in the summer transfer window.
Cullen is scheduled to remain at Bolton until January, and although things are not going as well as expected for him at the Championship club, his latest performance for the Republic of Ireland Under-21 national team was hugely encouraging.

The youngster was named the Republic of Ireland Under-21 side’s ’Man of the Match’ in the goalless draw with their Norway counterparts on Thursday evening.
The 21-year-old started the match at the Tallaght Stadium and played for the entire 90 minutes.
Cullen’s performances for Bolton so far this season have been rather mixed, and there is a lot for him to improve upon.
Based on his display on Thursday evening, though, it is clear that Cullen has the quality to step up his game and Bolton could see a very different player when Championship action resumes next week, given the confidence that he could have got from being named the ‘Man of the Match’.
