Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Jose Mourinho commented on Wilfried Zaha returning to action for Crystal Palace.
The 18-cap Ivory Coast international has recovered from a hamstring injury, and is fit to face Spurs tomorrow in north London.
After hearing this news, the Evening Standard quote Mourinho as saying: “He is a very good player, it doesn’t surprise me that he is fit to play against us because everyone is fit against us. The goalkeepers always play well against us.”
In truth, the former Chelsea boss has a point.
For example, Palace’s Vicente Guaita delivered an incredible, Man of the Match display against Spurs at Selhurst Park earlier this season in a 1-1 draw.

The Spaniard was in stupendous form. However, he then conceded seven goals against Liverpool just six days later.
Mourinho’s comments seem to have gone down well with the Tottenham fans on Twitter, who can relate to his feelings.
It’s typical that a lacklustre opponent’s best player – the one who makes them tick – has missed five games, but is then fit and raring to go against Tottenham.

Spurs must be careful tomorrow – if they are to land the three points, they must find a way to nullify the Palace No.11.
Zaha is a very talented player, so much so that Tottenham have tried to sign him in the past – he is Palace’s talisman, and quite often, if you can stop him, you can stop the south Londoners as a whole.
Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter have said about Mourinho’s comments…
