Tottenham Hotspur fans have praised Hugo Lloris for his improved form since Jose Mourinho took charge.
Lloris was becoming error prone towards the back end of Mauricio Pochettino’s time in charge at Tottenham.
However, he has been one of Spurs’s most reliable stoppers ever since Mourinho stepped in.
Lloris has previously been criticised for failing to command his box well enough and being too passive when crosses come into his area.
But the World Cup winner was hugely assured under the long-ball from Burnley last night.
And Tottenham fans have moved to praise Lloris, as they feel his improvement has gone unheralded at times.
Lloris’s place in Tottenham’s goal has actually been put under more pressure by the arrival of Joe Hart in the summer, but the experienced stopper has responded well.
He is now likely to receive a well earned rest on Thursday evening, when Tottenham take on Antwerp in the Europa League.
