Everton manager David Moyes talks to his player Joseph Yobo
Sunderland were defeated by Everton in midweek, with the Toffees ruthless in a 3-0 triumph. A loss to his former club in this fashion would certainly have hit Sunderland boss David Moyes hard.
He is struggling to get the Black Cats going in the Premier League. They are currently second from bottom and are without a win from their opening four fixtures.
But despite their struggles one former Moyes pupil is confident that he will get Sunderland firing.

Joseph Yobo played under Moyes at Everton for many years, so obviously had a vested interest in the game on Monday night.
The Nigerian tweeted after the game, highlighting his belief in the ability of Moyes to turn the club’s fortunes around.
He stated:
Sunderland may be without a win but there have been some glimpses of potential.
Adnan Januzaj looks a great signing whilst keeping hold of Lamine Kone was also a big boost for the Black Cats.

The fixture list has not been kind for this weekend, as Sunderland prepare to take on Tottenham Hotspur.
But with two home games v Crystal Palace and West Brom after that, Sunderland fans will surely expect a win on the board soon.
