Joselu, on loan from Stoke City, showed off his talents in Spain.

After a historic comeback victory over PSG, Barcelona were brought crashing back down to earth by a Stoke player.

Joselu, who is on a season long loan at Deportivo La Coruna, scored the first goal as his temporary club beat the Catalan giants 2-1.

The result lifts Depor away from the relegation zone while simultaneously damaging Barcelona’s title challenge.

Having joined Stoke from Hannover 96 last summer, Joselu struggled to establish himself as a mainstay in Mark Hughes’ side and scored only four times in 22 league appearances – the majority of which came from the bench.

However, he’s found playing time even harder to come by in La Coruna, making only five league starts.

The goal against Barcelona – only his third in La Liga – wasn’t the prettiest as he pounced on a fumble to squeeze home from close range, but it did cap an impressive performance.

His other two league goals came against his former club Real Madrid, which suggests he’s a man for the big occasion, while he bagged another in the cup.

It’s been another frustrating season for Joselu so far, but with Stoke struggling to find a top striker his most recent exploits could persuade the Potters to give him another chance next campaign.
