Joselu has officially quit Newcastle United to return to Spain.

Joselu has sent a heartfelt message to Newcastle United fans on Twitter.
The Spanish striker has returned to his homeland to join Deportivo Alaves on a three-year deal.
Ex-Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez signed Joselu from Stoke City for £5 million two years ago [The Chronicle], though he only managed seven goals in 52 appearances for the Magpies.
He was by no means a fan favourite, but it seems like Joselu did have a lot of time for the supporters and here’s his parting message on Twitter.
Although he wasn’t a huge player for Newcastle, it’s vital that he is replaced.
Joselu’s exit means that Dwight Gayle and Yoshinori Muto are United’s only recognised and senior strikers in the squad, with Under-23 star Elias Sorensen replacing the Spaniard in their pre-season tour of China.
But Sorensen had a dismal spell on loan at Blackpool in League One last season, underlining the fact that he isn’t ready for Premier League football.
