Newcastle United could only manage to pick up a 1-1 draw with Swansea City yesterday.

Newcastle United striker Joselu has been criticised for posting such a positive message on social media website Twitter, after yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Swansea City.
Joselu was Newcastle’s saviour, as he came off the substitutes’ bench to score the equaliser.
However, the fact that he suggested that Newcastle had picked a ‘good result’ by drawing with bottom of the table Swansea City, meant that he did not get much praise on Twitter after the game.
Joselu has had a difficult time at Newcastle ever since signing from Stoke City in the summer, and his goal yesterday was highly important.
The Magpies had missed a whole host of chances before Joselu scored to get Rafael Benitez’s side back into the match.
Andre Ayew had given Swansea City the lead in the contest, after Dwight Gayle had missed a series of presentable opportunities.
It was still easy to sense the Newcastle fans’ frustration after the match, even though they did come from behind to claim a point, as Benitez’s side badly need a victory.
Newcastle have been in poor form for far too long, and look to be locked in a relegation battle now.
