Newcastle United signed Joselu from Stoke City during the summer transfer window.

Joselu joined Newcastle from Stoke City during the summer transfer window, and he has made an encouraging start at St. James’ Park.
The Spanish forward has scored twice for the Magpies already, and seems to have an important role to play on Tyneside.

And Joselu admits that he is finding things very different at Newcastle compared to what it was like at Stoke.
“Rafa’s perfect. It’s a lot different from when I was at Stoke,” the forward admitted.
“We train every day, we focus on the game at the weekend and every day is different. Rafa talks to us every minute and he wants every player to know their work for the weekend. He will say to every player individually ‘You do this’, ‘You do this’. Working with Rafa is perfect for me and all the players because he’s a perfect manager.”

Joselu endured a miserable time at Stoke, during his first spell in English football.
The target-man didn’t make much of an impact before being sent out on loan back to La Liga last season.
Joselu has already offered Newcastle a new outlet up-front though, and his inclusion seems to have helped Benitez’s side improve.
Newcastle lost their first two matches at Premier League level, and there were concerns with how they would adapt to playing in the top tier.
However, since Joselu has stepped in, Newcastle have now won three of their last five games to climb into ninth position in the league table.
