The summer transfer window will open in England tomorrow and will stay open until October.
Spurs are aiming to finish in the Europa League places, but it is likely that the North London outfit will have no European football next season.
Spurs manager Mourinho has suggested that there will be no new players coming to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday, but the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss is confident that the club are heading in the right direction.
Meanwhile, Mourinho has said what he recently told Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers about his injury problems.
Mourinho told Football.London when asked about a new player coming in on Monday: “Monday? A new player Monday? That would be amazing news but I think it’s just the opening of the window. I think we’re going in the right direction.
“Very calm, organised, thinking well, measured, thinking of everything. We know what we can do, we know what we cannot do, we know which directions we can go in, which directions we cannot.
“We cannot be reactive in relation to what our opponents may do that we cannot do. We are very balanced, we’re together. No doubts about what we need, no doubts what it is possible for us to get.
“Step by step we’ll end with a better, more balanced squad thank we have now, keeping the great players we have is a very important thing.”
The Portuguese boss added: “The other day I was telling Brendan [Rodgers] after our game, to lose at the same time Ricardo Pereira, Soyuncu, Chilwell, Fuchs – can he do a miracle?”

Summer signings
Tottenham have a strong squad, but they do need to make additions to the team in the summer transfer window.
A quality striker to compete with and be a back-up for Harry Kane is a must, and Spurs may also have to sign a central defender, with Jan Vertonghen set to leave at the end of the season.
