Jose Mourinho is reportedly open to a dramatic return to Chelsea this summer, with the AS Roma boss rumoured to have already rejected an approach from West Ham to replace David Moyes.
According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, the Portuguese coach is ready to leave the Italian capital this summer if the opportunity to take over ‘certain clubs’ become available, with a third spell in west London with Chelsea one of the teams Mourinho would join.

The news will come as a blow for West Ham, who according to La Roma 24 recently made a £30m financial package to persuade Mourinho to move to the London Stadium side, with Chelsea now seemingly the only Premier League side the former Tottenham boss wants to join.
Whilst Mourinho might want the Chelsea job, though, there’s a more-than-likely chance that the Blues have zero interest in appointing the three-time Premier League champion for a third-time, with Todd Boehly seemingly keen to bring in a manager with a more modern understanding of the game.
As a result, West Ham could have a second chance at recruiting Mourinho as a replacement for Moyes, with the Scottish manager seemingly set to leave east London at the end of this season after what has been a year to forget for the Irons.
Mourinho is crazy if he thinks Chelsea want to reappoint him

Whether it’s delusion or getting mixed up in a fantasy, Mourinho’s own self-belief that he can land the Chelsea job is admirable, to say the least, with the Blues likely to appoint a younger coach with more modern views on the beautiful game than the defensive style the Roma boss is known for.
Indeed, Mourinho coming back to the Premier League would be sensational, yet given the direction Chelsea’s owners want to take the club, West Ham would be a more realistic option for the Portuguese manager this summer than a third spell at Stamford Bridge.
