Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho has told Football.London that it was not easy for Son Heung-min last night.

Spurs got the better of Shkendija 3-1 away from home in North Macedonia in the Europa League Qualifying Third Round tie on Thursday evening.

Son scored in the 70th minute of the encounter and provided two assists, and while Mourinho has praised the South Korea international forward, he has admitted that it was not easy for him.

Mourinho told Football.London about Son: “He is confident, he is happy. He is not a striker so playing against a low block team like Shkendija was not easy for him.

“When Harry came to the game and Sonny started coming from the left it’s more his natural habitat and he had his chance and he scored a goal which was very important for us.”
