Everton are reportedly interested in signing Ander Herrera from Manchester United in the January transfer window.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants Ander Herrera to stay at the club beyond next summer, according to The Sun, amid speculation that Everton are interested in the midfielder.
Herrera is keen on staying at United beyond next summer when his current contract runs out, but the midfielder wants more first-team action, according to the British tabloid.
Earlier this month, The Sun reported that Everton are interested in signing the Spain international midfielder in the January transfer window in order to enhance their chances of qualifying for Europe next season.
Manchester United stay
Everton are a massive and ambitious club, and the Toffees have lofty ambitions for the future.

However, leaving United for the Toffees would be a step-down for Herrera, who at 29 years of age, is at the top of his game.
If United manager Mourinho wants the former Athletic Bilbao star to carry on at Old Trafford, then the midfielder – who earns £75,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – would be wise to come to an agreement with the Red Devils and sign a new contract.
