Alisson played well for Liverpool in the Champions League final at the weekend.

Liverpool got the better of Premier League rivals Tottenham 2-0 at Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid in the final of Europe’s premier club competition on Saturday evening.
Former Manchester United and Chelsea manager Mourinho was following the match, and he has praised Reds’ goalkeeper Alisson for the role he played in the match.
Mourinhos said on beIN SPORTS about Alisson: “They (Liverpool) stayed with the block of seven, they were very pragmatic, they were very solid defensively, and when Tottenham managed to do something and to create something, the player that was missing last season was there today (Alisson).
“He was not phenomenal, he didn’t make five, six, seven, eight saves, but he had a couple of saves that stopped Tottenham to draw.”

Important player
Alisson was a very smart signing by Liverpool in the summer of 2018, and the £67 million they spent on the Brazil international goalkeeper as transfer fee to sign him from AS Roma – as reported by The Mirror – has been money well spent.
The 26-year-old has made important saves for Liverpool throughout the season, both in the Premier League and in the Champions League, and he is certainly a massive upgrade on Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius.
Liverpool finished second in the Premier League this season, and their 2018-19 campaign has been a success.
