Jose Mourinho has raved about Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in The Times.
The former Tottenham head coach has said Kane is incredible and has outlined the development in his game this past season.
Mourinho, now the manager of AS Roma, has added that the Tottenham striker is a silent leader.
The Portuguese made the comments about Kane while looking ahead to England’s chances at the Euro 2020 finals this summer.
Mourinho told The Times about Kane: “He is a very complete player. He went from a No 9 — incredible goalscorer — to a complete player who is still the same goalscorer. He does more things for the team and still scores the same number of goals.
“It’s not like his qualities changed and now he plays a different role and he scores less goals. He plays a different role and he scores the same number of goals.
“He is a leader — a silent leader, but a leader. In the club it is not an easy situation for a leader who does not have the armband. It creates a little bit of uncertainty about the roles.
“In the national team he has that armband that gives him, let’s say, the institutional power to be a leader of the group. He is a good leader. He is a very calm guy who has a voice when he needs to have it, surrounded by experienced players who can help him.”

Kane is not the Tottenham captain, Hugo Lloris is, but the 27-year-old is a leader on the pitch.
The striker is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League, but this past season, he evolved into a number 10 as well.
Kane was scoring goals and providing assists, and that is simply remarkable.
Just look at the stats.
The England international scored 23 goals and won the Premier League Golden Boot.
Kane also gave 14 assists – more than any other player in the league.
Kane is a complete striker who can score from anywhere.
The Tottenham star also helps out defensively and works hard for the team.
While most strikers would focus only on scoring goals, Kane drops deep and helps build attacking plays.
There is no surprise that Mourinho is such a big fan of Kane, who reportedly wants to leave Tottenham this summer to win trophies.
