Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho has praised his players on Instagram after the win against Arsenal this evening.
Spurs have won the North London derby at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium 2-0, thanks to first-half goals from Son Heung-min and Harry Kane.
It was very much a team performance, with all the players playing their part in the win in the Premier League game.
Mourinho has praised his Spurs team by making the following post on Instagram.
Title challenge
Tottenham would have started the season aiming to finish in the Champions League places, but the North London club have now established themselves as genuine challengers for the Premier League title.
Spurs are winning matches and picking up results, and they have to be considered as contenders for the title.
Tottenham are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 24 points from 11 matches.
Of course, it is still only the first week of December, but the signs are very promising indeed for Mourinho and his players.
Tottenham’s next game in the Premier League is against Crystal Palace on December 13, and they will then face Liverpool at Anfield on December 16.
